Esp Oosh @ Dempsey which serves fusion food, mainly Japanese & western.
I enjoyed every bit of it. every little bit of the evening.
Just take a look at the ambience…
The food was very tasty too! *2-thumbs-up*

We ordered 3 main courses, duck confit, pasta with bay scallop and chardonnay cream pasta.
Simple things like the raisin bread was warm n crispy! Butter was “spreadable”, not like some frozen ones.

Yixian made a point. Soaking in its cosy ambience, u don’t see any buildings around..u see wooden bridge.. u see english architectures..u see a lot of ang mohs around u. for an instance, I thought I’m outta Singapore in some resort ard the coast of auzzie! ;p great imagination indeed.

There was a sustainable crowd on a thurs evening. Im sure they’re doing well~ :)
Well, they deserve the crowd.

The bill came pretty reasonable too!
Well, maybe we expectation much more that’s why we were satisfied with a bill of $84
For 2 sets of bread, a salad and the 3 main courses ordered.

I think everyone deserves to step foot in this man-made paradise.
Esp for couples. The variation of seats and settings gives u a few choices to choose frm.. couch.. snack bar.. proper dining tables.. sofa.. indoor, outdoor.. on the wooden bridge.

We were discussing, it will be interesting to see how they gonna shift the guests to the indoors when the heavy rain comes!
So we decided to purposely visit Oosh on a rainy day the next time rd :p

if u allow me to dream more, can I tell u guys… I dream of owning the place? Haha!
Oh man, PLEASE go try!!!

They have got gooooooddddd service too. Good enough to compliment!

Oh of course it was much better den the service offered at The Wine Company.
We actually made plans to eat at The Wine Company… cause I’ve tried the it at Evans Road.
I thought the price are reasonable, the variety was good, and also, for the wooden-ambience.
So I juz wanted Amy n Yx to try it.

Oh man, The Wine Company @ Dempsey failed terribly. I’ll never dine there. Even if I do, it will be the outlet at Evans Road.
The waiter asked how many person we have, indoor or outdoor seating. We said indoor.. he turned and walked in… he didn’t even guide us there, and

#1 he left the glass door swinging at my face!
#2 We stood there waiting for him like fools,
#3 he didn’t tell us to give him a moment..he went to his collegues n discussed a lil (perhaps on whether we can have this particular table)
#4 he came and tell us they don’t have anymore indoor seats (den maybe he shldnt have given us an option of indoor or outdoor seating frm the very beginning)
#5 we wanted to take the outdoor seating, but later, another collegue say its fine for us to take one of the reserve table in the indoor -_-
#6 we sat down and waited a few moments before they showed us some attention
#7 I flipped the menu and realized there only serve finger food and wine in this outlet, unlike the one at Evans Road.
#8 we left the place and went to Oosh and had a very wonderful experience there! J

Blessing in disguise indeed!
anyway, Oosh can be listed as the TOP10 dining place i've visited.
so do experience it peeps!

and perhaps before leaving Dempsey, u can drop by PS Cafe for a gentle breeze with a glass of Muscato - Dessert Wine.

SECOND
2am Dessert Bar @ Holland V

somewhere at late night?
don't mind spending a lil more?
special and attractive looking desserts as mains and some savoury as sides?
very comfortable sofa seats with cushions and shawl provided?

nothing of a great who-ha! but still, worth dropping by to drop.

i esp like the tiramisu. VERY LIGHT, with their unique kahlua jelly and espresso ice cream by the side. simple dessert in their own unique way.
